
Dr. Hardy received his DMD degree from the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine, and completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency performing surgery for patients in specialty services including plastic and reconstructive surgery, ENT, trauma surgery, vascular surgery, and anesthesia at MetroHealth Medical Center.
He was made a fellow of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1993, the highest qualification of the specialty.
As an attending surgeon and clinical instructor, he is involved in the training of residents at The University of Vermont Medical Center, and lectures on subjects including cosmetic facial evaluation and surgery, emergency treatment for facial injuries, neuromodulators, dermal fillers, and laser surgery.
He has served for two decades as the Chairman of the Anesthesia Committee for the Vermont State Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Society performing in-office evaluation of surgeons.
Dr. Hardy lives in Shelburne, VT. When he’s not in the office, you’ll find him getting that fresh Vermont air while skiing, biking, playing tennis, or golf and enjoying the company of his family and friends.
